Biographical Sketch

        A graduate of the Harvard Combined Orthopaedic Surgery Program at Brigham & Women's and Massachusetts General Hospitals, his training was further coupled with a Fellowship in Adult Reconstructive and Arthritis Surgery (Total Joint Replacements), with the original developers of Multiple Joint Replacements at the Brigham & Women's Hospital.

     An expert in Arthroscopy and Arthroplasty (joint replacement), his practice comprises 85% joint related surgeries of the shoulder, hip and knee. As a prominent Sports Medicine specialist, Dr. Mansmann has been a US Ski Team Physician for 15 years.

     Dr. Mansmann brings with him the most innovative and advanced techniques in both surgical and non-surgical care, as well as the classical techniques.

     Dr. Mansmann is Founder and Director of the Arthroscopy Research Institute and the AJR Foundation, and is developing advanced innovative technologies for Arthroscopic Joint Resurfacing.
